Make a Sound's mission is to re-engage people in the power of interpersonal conversation. Whether it’s an interview for college or a new career, moderating event Q & A sessions or a important board meeting, or just to help upgrade conversational tools in your everyday life. We aim to create confidence in conversation.

Classroom Presentations & Assemblies

45-minute interactive presentations designed for elementary to middle school classrooms. Lively presentations with a high dose of audience participation that shows young audiences the importance interpersonal communication and face to face social interaction.

Conversation and Interview Modules

Weekly 30 minute conversation sessions designed to grow your child's metacognitive (ability to reflect on their own thoughts) and interpersonal interaction skills. Our 4-week sessions are designed to help boost your social, educational and individual confidence in person to person communication

* Modules are designed for children ages 7-12 and 13 & up. (Module structure can be specified if needed)

*Students will receive weekly conversation worksheets to work on prior to sessions.

*All modules take place on Skype and are transcribed within 72 hours after each session.

PTA & Corporate Presentations

For parent groups, teachers or companies looking to upgrade their organization's interpersonal communication skills. Our one of a kind presentations will engage and energize your audience with activities, information, and ideas.

David Brownstein (Founder)

David Brownstein is a former teacher that specialized in communication skills in the Los Angeles school district. He is an award-winning producer/performer in the field of family entertainment and has dedicated his professional career to helping youth seek out and embrace the spectrum of life's experiences. An avid student of social psychology, David holds a BA from Brandeis University and received his certification from the Harvard School of Education in the developmental approach to language and literacy skills.
